I’m not sure if you are like me or not but I have been without words regarding the situation in Haiti. Since it happened I have been praying about how our family could help. Donating money was an option but as I continued praying about how God wanted us to help, a resounding YES was not the answer I was getting when we praying about making a monitary donation. Then it came to me, use my gifts and talents from HIM to help donate even more to the people of Haiti. So here is the plan…for every session that is booked (with a paid deposit) between now Jan 22 – Jan 24, 100% will be donated to the relief efforts in Haiti through Compassion International. This organization is near and dear to our hearts. Our family has sponsored a young man through CI for a couple of years. He is in the Dominican Republic, not far from Haiti. It scares me to think of what our Jose might be going through being so close to Haiti. Just this week we got a letter from him. He is such a sweet 11 year old boy.

Fine print…For anyone that is interested in making their donation directly through CI (so you are able to get the tax deduction, I am cool with that route) – I will ask that you send me a confirmation of your donation to count toward your deposit. Your session must be booked between now and the 24th; however the session does not need to be held between these dates. You will have a credit that must be used within the calendar year of 2010.
